I don't get what the big deal is .. do you people really have to bash on vday that much? Yes yes i've heard it 57+ times already: "just a day where companies make money selling chocolate and stupid teddy bears" - if people want to waste money buying flowers that will die the next day and chocolate that their girlfriend will poop out in 2 hours then that's their deal. Look at halloween - a day where stores make money selling slutty outfits and people can appear as some celebrity/character so they can escape reality for one night and straight up act foolish. SAME DIFF.

It's actually nice to get something-be somewhere-eat some delicious ass food-hold hands for crying out loud with/from your significant other so really, stop playing it off like you hate the thorn filled roses. BE GRATEFUL AND SAY THANK YOU.

WHY: hands down this is my favorite holiday. it makes me giggle seeing stop & shop OD the front end section with 10 heart shaped balloons, pink and red frosting cookies, and fluffly frickin bears everywhere. a little creepy standing in the middle of the section though. Single or Taken, people should just enjoy it: a reason to dress up for a hot date with your beau. a better reason to dress up and disturb the peace with your girlfriends downtown.

Thanks for a great date to my main squeeze. Second year in a row and the best two so far. JW.
